for everyone

And after all these years, it appears nothing has changed. Well so much for education or for religion.
One would think by now, there must be something wrong with the way we perceive things.

Religion? Or lack of it.
Evolution ? Or lack of it.
Maybe its that man evolved and religion did not, or vise versa. But what it is I wish someone comes up with some answers, man has run out of ideas.
The need for a divine intervention is way overdue.
Man's primal genes are in direct opposition to his
beliefs as modern man.
What did not work in the past will not work now.
As soon as man can figure that out, we
will have a start.
For now, we seem to be caught in the same circle
just going round and round.
"In the name of God" does not compute, in any language
or religion.
Some thing is wrong dead wrong, and someone needs to
step out of the circle to figure it out.

It does appear that we are on the same train today as in Sodom and Gomorah times. I choose to believe in my faith just the same and just maybe it's because I have seen miracles happen. Can I prove divinity exists? Not in any tangible way, but in my soul I do see and feel things which prove it to me.

Yes it would be nice to awaken to divine intervention but for some unknown reason it's supposed to get worse before the glory comes. I could shake with fear at the prospect of the unleashing of the fury that will precede what i envision as 'HEAVEN' ... I certainly am not the one to figure this out ... for humankind nor even my ownself ....

I guess that's all part of the big mystery. ???????????

I only have one question. Can you put GOD mind in human mind?
If you say it's possible, than the religious people is a big joke for non believer. Just like the joke you called " A Brief History of Religion".
And if you say it can't be done. Than you got your answer. :)

Faith is IMO , a double edge sward., it has brought us together and has torn us apart. Just something to ponder on :)

With all the chaos that is happening around, sometimes it's only our faith which makes us going...
true...some people have been misled by what they believe but it does not mean that you have to let go of your faith because you are disillusioned by what you are seeing. God does not cease to exist simply because man ceases to believe. But man needs to believe because whether we admit it or not, there is an Almighty Being which has put order into this universe. Nothing ever happens by accident.

A friend of mine has this saying: I'd rather live as if there is a God and find out there isn't than to live as if there isn't a God and find out there is.

IMO ... HE EXISTS, I've seen one too many miracles in my life to not believe that - plus whenever I choose to live by faith my life is always better than when I try to rely on myself. Just makes sense to me.

Yes that's true...there are way too many miracles in our life to continue ignoring the existence of God.
